Before You Schedule
Psych Alchemy is a psychiatric medication management practice dedicated to supporting patients in their mental health services. Appointments focus on diagnosis, medication evaluation, and treatment planning. During visits, we may include brief therapeutic discussions as part of our medication management approach. While becoming a patient, it's important to note that we do NOT offer ongoing, stand-alone psychotherapy or counseling services, and we do not have therapists on staff. Many patients choose to see a separate therapist while receiving our psychiatric medication management services.

About our billing services
Our Biller
Psych Alchemy partners with a professional medical billing service that functions as our billing department. Under federal law (HIPAA), this company is our “business associate”: it may use your information only to process claims, payments, and billing questions on our behalf; it is bound by a written agreement to safeguard your information; and it must follow the same privacy protections our practice does. Statements or calls about your account may come from our billing service on our behalf. All questions about your bill — and all requests about your records — should come to our office directly, and we will coordinate with the billing team. How we use and protect health information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
For Payments
We may use and disclose your health information to bill and collect payment for services — for example, submitting claims to your health plan, confirming coverage, and managing billing and collections. We use a billing company to perform these activities on our behalf. Companies that perform services for us (“business associates”) must agree in writing to protect your information and may use it only to do the work we hire them for.
