Meet Catherine Luko, PMHNP-BC—a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Smyrna, Delaware, known for blending clinical expertise with genuine compassion, zero judgment, and a dash of dark humor (because if you’ve survived trauma, you’ve definitely earned the right to laugh again).

With 15 years of nursing experience and specialized training in PTSD and trauma, Catherine is the person people turn to when they’re tired of feeling misunderstood. She earned her RN from Our Lady of Lourdes in New Jersey, her BSN from Immaculata University, and her PMHNP from the University of Delaware—and has made it her mission to help every patient feel like they finally belong somewhere. With her, you’re never “too much,” never alone, and never judged.

Catherine treats PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, panic disorder, ADHD, and first responders, and she is especially known for helping people who’ve been through some of life’s hardest moments rediscover their footing.

When she’s not at Psych Alchemy, you’ll find her decompressing with her family or being emotionally manipulated by her two chaotic fur-children, Sadie Mae and Ozzy—affectionately known as The Tweedles, because every day with them is a new episode of “What Fresh Hell Is This?”

Ages Seen: 10 and up (will see 6 and up on the case by case bases)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Lunch: 2:00–3:00 PM (prime Tweedle-wrangling hours)
