Meet Roni Becker, PMHNP-BC — a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Smyrna, Delaware. Roni brings nearly 30 years of nursing experience to her care, along with her board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She's known for her steady, calming presence and her compassion in helping patients feel grounded, supported, and understood. If calm had a mascot, it would be Roni (probably holding garlic).

Roni began her nursing journey at Delaware Technical Community College, earned her BSN at Immaculata University, and completed her psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) training at Frontier Nursing University. She cares for patients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more.

When she’s not helping patients rewrite their mental health stories, Roni enjoys life with her husband, two grown children, an ever-growing pack of grandchildren, and two very important pets: Gandalf the fur baby and Stevie the fur grandbaby. If you feed her, expect a dangerous amount of garlic. This is your only warning.

Ages Seen: 10 and up

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Lunch: Always 2:00–3:00 PM (unless someone brings garlic knots)
